| Check-Out Hunger|
November, 2013 - January, 2014
Over the holiday season, shoppers at local grocery stores could donate to their island’s food bank right at the check-out counter via the bright green coupons for Kraft Foods Hawaii’s Check-Out Hunger Campaign. Kraft Foods in Hawaii kicks off the Check-Out Hunger each year with a $5,000 donation to the Hawaii Foodbank. Over the past ten years, Kraft Foods has donated $50,000 to the campaign.
The beneficiaries of these donations are Hawaii Foodbank on Oahu, Hawaii Foodbank Kauai Branch on Kauai, the Maui Food Bank on Maui, and the Food Basket on Hawaii Island.
Check-Out Hunger has raised over $2,000,000 for Hawaii food banks since its inception 20 years ago, and it’s all due to the generosity of shoppers like you!
