Without YOU, we can’t WIN the fight against hunger.

Volunteers like YOU make what we do possible. YOUR time, YOUR passion, YOUR drive – it inspires us to keep on going. Join the ranks and together, we’ll continue to fight hunger.

JOIN THE FIGHT. Here’s how in 3 easy steps.

Step 1. Choose an Opportunity

We have opportunities to join us in our fight against hunger year-round in our warehouse and during our Special Events season. Take a look at our Volunteer Brochure (find above) to find a match.

Step 2. Complete an Application

A completed Volunteer Application (select appropriate application above) is needed to begin your placement in a volunteer opportunity. Please fill the application out and return it to the Volunteer Manager at volunteer@hawaiifoodbank.org, or by fax at 808.836.2272. You may also mail your application to 2611 Kilihau Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. Please attention to “Volunteer Manager.”

Step 3. Schedule an Interview & Orientation Tour

Please make an appointment by calling our Volunteer Coordinator at (808) 954-7869.  The Interview & Orientation Tour will take about 45 minutes and may include viewing a training video, and a “try-it-on” period where you actually work in the department to see if it fits.
