Our 12th Annual Golf Classic
was on Friday, February 12, 2016
at Hawaii Prince Golf Club and we had a great time!
The Hawaii Foodbank Hospitality Coalition hosted a golf tournament for a day of friends, fun, and cheerful competition to help meet the 2016 Food Drive goal of One Million Meals.
Golfers enjoyed complimentary coaching by Dave Kowalczyk of Roger Dunn Golf Shops, a Putting contest sponsored by Bridgestone Golf, a hot dog lunch sponsored by Penske Truck Rental& Leasing, golf balls form HFM FoodService and Bridgestone Golf, beer provided by MillerCoors and Paradise Beverages, along with various on-course competitions - including the Hole in One Contest sponsored by New City Nissan.
The day ended with a delicious Awards Dinner at Bird of Paradise Restaurant, emceed by the one and only Kimo Kahoano. Team prizes were awarded to the top finishers as well as every twelfth team. The banquet ended with a Lucky Drawing of prizes including fun experiences, fabulous hotel stays, and airfare donated by
travel sponsor United Airlines!
Over the last decade, proceeds from the Hawaii Foodbank Golf Classic have provided over a million meals for Hawaii's children, seniors, and families in need.
Mark your calendars for next year's tournament on
