14th Annual Hunger Walk: September 2018

Hunger Walk

Every year in September, the Hawaii Foodbank and the Harry C. & Nee Chang C. Wong Foundation host a one-mile walk at the Civic Center to raise needed funds to provide hunger aid to Oahu residents in need. Dollars raised during this event will benefit our network of member agencies: Oahu’s food pantries, feeding programs, homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers and soup kitchens that all take part in getting the food directly into the hands of our ohana.

Canstruction® is an exhibition event involving various groups of competing builders, designers & architects on Oahu. Every year in October, the public is invited to participate in the People's Choice award by donating canned goods as vote submissions. All canned food collected and displayed are donated to the Hawaii Foodbank.
