Mahalo for joining us for a fun-filled morning of exercise, refreshments,
keiki activities, and live on-stage entertainment!
The Hawaii Foodbank and the Harry C. & Nee Chang C. Wong Foundation hosted a one-mile walk on September 17, 2016 to raise needed funds to help feed the hungry on Oahu! Monies raised will benefit Hawaii Foodbank member agencies - Oahu’s food pantries, feeding programs, homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers and soup kitchens.
The Hunger Walk is an opportunity for you to help Hawaii Foodbank member agencies build financial support for their food pantries and feeding programs. Because of the increased number of people who need emergency food assistance in Hawaii, our partner agencies helped us distribute over 17 percent more food than the previous year. Please help our agencies as they diligently raise funds to fight hunger in our communities!
With your pledge of support, agencies will have more food to feed more people in need. Agencies that raise at least $200 before the day of the walk will qualify for percentage matching. Designate an agency you would like to help, or donate to a general fund that will be divided among all participating agencies.
For more information, check out our: Hunger Walk Information Sheet and Sponsor Form on choosing an agency to support, see our list of last year’s Hunger Walk Participating Agencies.
