NALC 2017 Hawaii Foodbank Stamp Out Hunger Letter Carriers Food Drive with partners

The nation's largest single-day food drive to help feed needy families and children during the summer months will be held on Saturday, May 13. During the week of May 2, Letter Carriers will place blue collection bags sponsored by the Hawaii State AFL-CIO, McDonalds of Hawaii, Menehune Water Company and Honolulu Freight Service mail boxes statewide.

In 2016, over 526,000 pounds of food were collected and 412,135 pounds were attributed to collections in Oahu.
