Hunger Walk

|
Mahalo for joining us at the 7th Annual Hunger Walk at the Honolulu Civic Center
We all enjoyed a one-mile walk to raise needed funds to help feed the hungry on Oahu. Monies raised benefit member agencies of the Hawaii Foodbank representing Oahu’s food pantries, feeding programs, homeless shelters, rehabilitation centers and soup kitchens. All agencies help feed 183,500 different people statewide each year including 55,050 children, 11,010 seniors, low-income families, the homeless, the disabled and the temporarily unemployed.
The Hunger Walk is an opportunity for agencies to build financial support for their food pantries and feeding programs. With your pledge of support, agencies will have more food to feed more people in need.
