National Association Letter Carriers
Annual Food Drive

On Saturday, May 9, 2009, Hawaii's Letter Carriers participatea in a National Food Drive. 
The employees of the USPS collected non-perishable foods left at residents' mailboxes. 

The trucks then arrived at the Hawaii Foodbank warehouse and volunteers from
AFL-CIO Community Service many individuals sorted, boxed, and stacked the valuable
canned goods donated through this collaborative effort.
