The Tread for Bread Program is designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and to reinforce the concept of renewable energy through personal responsibility and sharing. GreenFleet Hawaii encourages Hawaii residents not to “waste their extra calories” but to donate them to the Hawaii Foodbank.
Simply track the distance you accumulate on a daily basis from walking, running or hiking, input the date into your GreenFleet pedometer app and calculate the amount of calories you burn. We'll "store" your donated calories and at the end of each quarter we will weigh all donated calories from all Tread for Breaders and make a donation to the Hawaii Foodbank. |

Everybody Eats is a new program sponsored by HawaiiDiner.com and participating restaurants that raises funds to help the Hawaii Foodbank fulfill their mission.
In this alliance, 25% of all gross revenue generated from Restaurant Subscribers at HawaiiDiner.com benefits the Hawaii Foodbank, the only nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency in the State of Hawaii that collects, warehouses and distributes large quantities of perishable and non-perishable food to 270 agencies, plus food banks on the Big Island, Maui and Kauai.
Participating Restaurants can be identified by the Everybody Eats logo. |
